17/11 Las Palmas, Soon ready to take off!

Now there is only four days left in Las Palmas, and then we are taking off again. Within the next two days all of the crew has arrived. The start will be at 13.30 on Sunday and we are all very excited. The last three weeks has been full of hard work and seminars in order to be well prepared for the journey.  Below you will see the pictures from our food delivery. About 400 liters water and a huge amount of tins and cans filled with tuna, ham, corned beef and fruit cocktails. Today we also got the life raft back from service; however we are still waiting for the diesel generator (Fischer Panda) to be ready. Tomorrow we will have our last security check, which we hope to pass…

Bengt has been going up and down the mast several times while Elina and Malin has been oiling the teak and desperately looking for a gasoline station that can help us refill the gas-still no luck. Bernard has been working hard on making a shopping list and preparing menus. Now we are almost there!

The marina is full of excited people, polishing their boats and making the final adjustments. We are making new friends that we are hoping to meet on the other side of the ocean… If everything works out as we planned.

We will give you another update before we leave on Sunday. Keep in touch!

Lots and lots of food...

Malin and Bengt are looking forward to be eating it all up!

I bet that you're not storing your beverages under your floor.
